Morten Raasted over Lolland on November 21
Even though winter is approaching we are lucky to get some wonderful sunny days to go fun jumping at the dropzone. Just last Saturday a few skydivers showed up to enjoy a relatively warm November day in the skies above Lolland. I went along to see if I could get a few good shots from the action.
I jumped with no particular plan except to look for good situations to shoot with the still cam. The low hanging winter sun should offer some good light for some pictures shot from a lower angle than usual. It presented me with some new options to test on my Canon 450, like the lower light and the changing angles and distance to the skydivers. The 4 way jump was shot with auto focus and the 3 way was manual. I haven’t had good results with auto focus, so testing is important. The manual ones came out the best.
